and a sense of age, stability & quality.
 Durability: Teak is the king of durable, outdoor timbers. Renowned as one of the
world’s most durable hardwoods. It’s exceptional performance in wet & rainy climates
has made it a favourite material for ship building for over 2000 years. Even today it
remains the top choice for luxurious boats and outdoor furniture. Teak is one of the
strongest hardwoods. It performs well when exposed to weather conditions such as
rain and sun. This is greatly due to teak’s high natural oil content and the tight wood
grain. Teak will not warp or crack & when properly maintained, teak outdoor furniture
can last for the entirety of your life and years after.
 Resistant to rotting & termites: One thing you want from any outdoor furniture piece is
hard wearing. Not only does teak hold up well against the weather, it also has a high

resistance to rotting & termite damage. The abundant natural oils repel unwanted
insects and moisture from damaging the integrity of the timber.
 Maintenance: Teak outdoor furniture requires little maintenance even if left uncovered
outdoors. Teak left to naturally weather will transform over time to a beautiful silvery
grey and will just require a general brush down & clean. Alternatively, to maintain the
warm honey brown tones, lightly sand and apply our Golden Care protector or a teak
outdoor furniture oil. Using a teak cleaner is the most effective way to prevent your
teak furniture from turning grey over time. Follow these steps: Use water, a soft –
medium bristle brush to remove any stains, scrub with the grain rather than against it,
and get into the corners, nooks and crannies. Depending on how much sun exposure
your teak gets will determine how often you do this.

grain and varying textures. The golden honey brown colour tones of freshly cut
timber appeal to many, its ability to naturally age well and the patina is a testament to

There are many benefits to Olefin Outdoor Fabric, some of these are: 

Weatherproof: Olefin is able to withstand prolonged exposure to sun, wind, rain and humidity. The fabric is protected by an invisible shield around each fibre meaning that moisture can be wiped off easily, ensuring the piece dries quickly. Additionally it is also resistant to mildew, and insects.

Stain Resistance: This fabric has gone through a special treatment to reduce the fabrics absorption of soil and stains. This ensures the fabric remains clean and vibrant. 

Fade Resistant: Olefin is a superior outdoor fabric which is resistant to fading. Solution dyeing is used in production, lending Olefin to incredible colourfastness.

Durable: This material is highly durable and stands up particularly well to abrasion.

Cleanability: Due to the fabrics being woven with solution dyed olefin yarns, the fabrics can be safely cleaned
